Bad News!
Dear Customers of Sothis, dear Fans of Sothis
unfortunately on March 3rd, my father Wolfgang Steinkrüger, owner and creative director of the branch SOTHIS/Bielefeld died much too early.
My aim as successor now is to keep the trade SOTHIS and the lifework of my father with all my energy alive.
For personal reasons an active collaboration at the future reorientation of the trade SOTHIS is unfortunately not possible.
Therefore I accepted the offer of Jörg Schauer (owner of the trade STOWA/Schauer) to look together with me for a suited successor.
My father and Jörg Schauer have known each other already for 16 years from the beginning of the trade SOTHIS and by collective performances at the Basle fair they had build up a bond of trust defined by mutual respect.
Jörg Schauer was not only willing to consider a succession of the trade SOTHIS by himself but to inform all potential interested parties on the details of the brand.
Though a high degree of capacitiy utilisation of the brands STOWA and Schauer he likes to support me with the coming business to grant a continued use of the brand.
Our aim is to find a suited successor who continues the trade SOTHIS and especially the moon dial “Spirit of Moon” and to activate the brand of possibly with new models.
The sale of the last watches build by Wolfgang Steinkrüger will be done in our shop at the Neustädter Str. 20 in 33602 Bielefeld to the indicated opening hours.
Service will be done by the horologist André Haselhorst who is working for many years for the company Sothis.
